OUR SERVICE

We see Pet Sitting as more than just turning up at your home and putting down some food and water and clearing a tray, caring for any pet is much much more than that. Our service is based on what we would want from anyone looking after our menagerie and we are very fussy, this is where our ethos of ‘Looking after Your Precious Pet Like It Was One of Our Own’ came from. Our service is looking after your home and your pets while you are away and treating them with the upmost care and respect, exactly as we would want and expect of anyone looking after our little ones.

FOOD & WATER

We will make sure all your little one’s food & water bowls are cleaned, disinfected & replenished, we can refill auto feeders and also have them available for loan during pet sittings. We will also monitor how much they are eating & drinking and adjust the amount as required, we will leave extra water during warm weather or if it is getting low between visits.

LITTER TRAYS

Litter trays will be cleaned and disinfected on every visit, waste will be taken and disposed of and full litter changes will be carried out as required depending on litter and tray types. Areas around the tray will be swept and surfaces disinfected, we are familiar with most types of automatic litter tray and will check and clean these as necessary. We will of course monitor tray usage for your pets wellbeing.

PLAY & CUDDLES

Play and cuddle time are very important, especially while the parents are away and once the cleaning and feeding is done, it’s time for fun and of course a brush if the little guys like that. We also carry toys and a brushing glove as well of course various as treats if they are allowed but only in moderation. We will let your pets lead the way and see what they want, be it play or just a cuddle or maybe both. It often takes a few visits before your little ones will feel totally comfortable with us but we will use our 25+ years’ experience and training over the first few visits to help gain their trust and usually by visit 3 they are sitting having cuddles and enjoying time with us, in their own home where they will be stress free and happy.

MEDICATION

As part of our pre-visit and before any pet sitting booking, we will go over any medication your pet requires, we will check dosages and frequency and confirm all of this prior to our first visit. We are familiar with giving most types of medication including medicines, tablets and injections and we carry various devices and treats to help us give tablets to even the most stubborn of pets because we all know how they hate taking tablets. All we ask is that you make sure there is a sufficient supply of any medication before you leave for your trip, making sure there will be some spare should you be delayed for any reason.
We will do a walk around check of your home to make sure all is well and check your little ones have not had any accidents anywhere. While we are there, we can also open and close curtains and turn random lights on and off to make your home look occupied and water plants and your garden. We will of course report anything out of the ordinary to you immediately. If you need any other tasks carried out, just ask, we will always do our best to accommodate them where possible.

YOUR HOME

We know how much people miss their little friends, we are the same when we are away and so we will do our very best to keep you updated on how they are doing, we can send updates, pictures and even videos using text, email, or WhatsApp, just let us know what you would like and how often and leave the rest to us.
